Meet the Author

So you have nothing else to do and you want to know about a 43-years-old man who sits in front of a table every day to make little drawings of a giant bird, I understand, nobody is perfect, and that's what this page is all about.

Manuel Rivas was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in November 1963. Since a very early age this kid suffered severe tortures that damaged his brain. His parents forced him for fourteen years to assist to a place called "school" where he was brainwashed into thinking that knowing the Pythagorean Theorem is useful information for everyday life. Boldly, Manuel resisted those attacks drawing cartoons on his notebooks. That's where his interest for cartooning was born.

Currently, Manuel lives in Merritt Island, Florida with his wife Josefina, his daughter Sara, and his son Manuel Jr. where he spends most of his time drawing cartoons, going to church, and pretending to be working at a place called Channell Glass.
